We're way past the point of just trying to establish some relationship. CO₂ is proven in controlled laboratory experiments to trap heat.

And we have known for a fact since the 1950s that CO₂ affects our atmosphere as well. What the correlation proves is that all other known greenhouse gases are *not* the driver of climate.
You see, in science, you cannot just "debate" the merits, as you see them, in the abstract. You must produce a better model or accept the current best model, which is that CO₂ drives global warming.
