That is a straw man fallacy.

You know very well that the crowd which is doing NO scientific research is yours.
Legitimate climate scientists KNOW that CO₂ is causing global mean temperature to increase, and we KNOW with high certainty, *how much* warming it is causing AND continue to do more research to be even more certain, for example to predict hurricane patterns better.
Meanwhile, nobody who tries to predict climate without admitting that CO₂ is THE driver of the multidecadal temperature trend has been able to construct any model that correctly predicts ANYTHING.
