"Then why do the interglacials show a warming at the end of each warm period, followed by a rapid drop in the to the glacial phase?"
Seems like a regular, predictable climate trend, don't you think?
"if CO2 is the main forcing parameter, then it certainly appears that it goes up, temperature goes up, then it reaches a threshold and temperature plunges."
If you're talking about paleo-climatology then you should already know that we are now dealing with a different situation. But that would make your argument disingenuous, and I'm not ready to assume that about you yet, so I'll assume you're just as ignorant of climate science as you have been assuming that I am of chaos theory.
CO₂ was a feedback mechanism to Milankovich cycles, etc in the past; now CO₂ is the primary forcing mechanism. Interpreting paleo-climate data requires a lot more care than you're taking.
"Many of the climate experts are saying that climate 'Change' is the threat, NOT global warming per se."
Yes and no. Yes, they are saying that side effects like flooding, drought and irregular weather patterns interfering with agricultural schedules are the most dangerous symptoms, almost unanimously. But where you're wrong is that they are also saying that those symptoms are caused by overall increase in thermal energy, aka heat, aka warming, and that is caused by greenhouse gases, absolutely unanimously.
