Jonathan Katz: Member Of Science Team Tasked With Gulf Solution Is A Homophobe, Climate Change Denialist [UPDATE]

I have already spoken out about his homophobia. Now, I have a comment on the other subject of Katz' incompetence and ignorance, a subject which I know more intimately: climate science.

There are no dissenters in climate science. There are the actively publishing professional scientists, 97.5% of whom understand the same facts the same way because they're all competent.

True, objective, scientific "skepticism" in the ancient Greek tradition is *reluctance* to believe, until adequate evidence is presented. Denial of the consensus of 97.5% of qualified professionals does not fit that honorable tradition.
