Climategate Scientist Michael E. Mann Exonerated

I have a good reason to call guinganbresil "liar" instead of just saying that it's incorrect. Normally, that would be what good manners requires, but guinganbresil IS a liar, not just incorrect.

It has claimed to be a scientist, in optics no less. It is not possible that gui is a scientist and fails to know:

(1) how to look up existing scholarship in the field in which it is allegedly so interested
(2) how to define a statistical trend and how to know when data are high-quality enough to support the claim of a "trend," a claim which it has repeatedly presented as a matter of fact, not as a speculation, until it revised down its assertions JUST TWO DAYS AGO.

It either lied EVERY TIME it asserted a trend in outgoing longwave radiation which conflicts with the Anthropogenic Climate Change Theory, OR it lied when it asserted:

"my background is optics - interactions between light and matter is fundamental to to my field"

Without any right to subpoena its educational and professional background, I had no choice but to accept its word on that. Its usage of language, "interactions between light and matter is fundamental," also suggests that it HAS in fact seen the inside walls of a college physics department. So my best guess remains that gui lied, not about its profession but the substance of its "analysis."
