Asking you for clarification of what you actually do or have done, professionally -- original scientific research vs. petroleum engineering -- is not at all similar to "attack your opponent." It's a legitimate question, and by the hysterical pitch of your answer, one which I think you have unwittingly, witlessly answered quite conclusively for us all. Thanks so much for that.
The difference between using KNOWLEDGE you acquired as an undergraduate student of geology, to search for petroleum, and applying the Scientific Method to do ORIGINAL RESEARCH that would qualify you as a peer to climate scientists is a significant difference, and a pertinent one to your claims against the climate science consensus. And, it's a difference that I think everybody who takes the time to read, not only these articles, but the COMMENTS about these articles, knows well. Everybody but you, anyway. So by pretending that your geology BS qualifies you to dismiss 97% of legitimate, actively publishing climate scientists, I think you're not fooling any novices, you're just making a fool of yourself before your betters in math and science and possibly even your peers in engineering, if any of them are reading this, too.
