"Sun activity" has decreased while global temperature has increased therefore the undisputed global warming something is caused by something other than the Sun. Every qualified professional agrees, the cause is the CO₂ emitted by petroleum-powered vehicles and coal-powered electric generators.
And we have plenty of options to replace both. It's an enormous problem, and the solutions are not that big a deal to implement, as proven in Denmark, Germany and Spain especially, but all around western Europe pretty well. Even China and a couple of the 50 states are making respectable progress implementing solar energy.
And I think that if the Red Chinese, soft-hearted western European quasi-socialists and a buncha Berkeley hippiez can do it, then so can you. Of course, the coal and petroleum corporations and their "think" tanks and the Senators in their pockets want to tell you "HELL NO YOU CAN'T" while I'm trying to tell you "Yes, we can."
So who would you rather listen to, really?
