The consensus is overwhelming, the science IS settled whether you like it or not and "the increasing OLR is not consistent with CO2 caused warming" but neither is it a fact.

You were not asked for an analogy and most emphatically, not for more science denier apologetics. We all understand what you're trying to say about OLR, and I have clearly explained to you where you're wrong, in the thread from which you're cross-posting.

The simulations of both CO2 and CH4 spectra indicate that the upper troposphere and lower stratosphere in the reanalysis datasets are 1–2 K WARMER than observed by the spectrally resolving instruments.

YOU posted that hyperlink, and contradicted the authors' conclusions. The pretty pictures are fun to look at, I know, but you REALLY ought to start reading the informative words, too. It would save you the embarrassment of leaping to conclusions DIRECTLY contradicted by the legitimate scientists' conclusions about their own work when you attempt to cherry-pick data. I know I'll never cure you of that habit, but for the sake of Pete, read the text from now on.
