The first law that Star2000dancer quoted is a universal law of ethics, respected by all civilized societies and systematically violated by all empires in decline.
The second is also a universal law of ethics and nature, and it just means that "what goes around comes around," and yes, as you sarcastically suggested, that *is* an extension of the simplistic principles in Newton's Laws of Motion. Competent scientists can see that current best Theories and hypotheses of natural systems are indeed converging toward just such Laws of Ecology as Star2000dancer outlined.
"Chaos theory is a field of study in mathematics, physics, and philosophy studying the behavior of dynamical systems that are highly sensitive to initial conditions." (Wikipedia)
Climate and biochemistry are both complex dynamical systems and the chemical composition of the atmosphere, the ocean, soil and bodies of freshwater are the "initial conditions" (differential equations: don't argue, if you don't understand, Google it) of the applicable equations of the linked ("coupled") dynamical systems of the Earth's ecology.
The exact coupling constants of the many differential equations are still being worked out, but the underlying mathematics show conclusively that Star2000dancer is absolutely right.
