The persons, corporations and "think" tanks known as the "Shadow Elite" including in stories here on Huffington Post are not some vague, imagined conspiracy theory. On the contrary, their wildly successful efforts to subvert the will of the citizenry of nominal "democracies" and "republics" are documented, conclusively.

No human supports the energy subsidy policies that onerously limit the ability of nearly everyone to make the personal choices you suggest. By preaching that we must do what we realistically cannot, you're blaming the victim. By including yourself in the blame, I see that you sincerely hold good intentions. But you're still incorrect.
