'Climategate' Debunking Gets Less Coverage Than Original Trumped-Up Scandal (VIDEO)

Two categories of news media are not adequately setting the record straight about the theft of data from University of East Anglia, and false accusations against climate scientists. One consists of Glenn Beck, James Watts, Steve McIntyre and their knowing, willing accomplices in fabricating evidence against climate scientists. They will never admit they were wrong because they were not mistaken, they lied.

The other group that should be correcting the record but hasn't consists of reporters who consider themselves honest, capable professional journalists but frankly just utterly failed to do their homework on this story before they reported on it.

It's human nature to be reluctant to admit such a colossal mistake as reporting that "Kevin and I will keep them out somehow - even if we have to redefine what the peer-review literature is!" means a conspiracy to stifle opposing LEGITIMATE points of view, ESPECIALLY when the fact of the matter would have been so easy for any moderately diligent reporter to learn, just by reading 1089318616.txt (which I'll copy & paste into the next comment):
